What is the maximum input level for the DELTA Pro?

By charging the DELTA Pro and its optional battery at the same time, you can achieve a maximum charge of 6500W by combining different solar AC charging methods and a smart generator. A standalone DELTA Pro unit can be charged from standard wall outlets (Max. 1800W), Power Station (Max. 3400W)/Smart Home Panel/240V outlets (Max. 3000W).

How many solar panels can be connected to the station at the same time?

It depends on the combined voltage and current parameters of the solar panels you choose. It is considered normal if MC4 connectors are used in solar panels, and their total voltage and current are in the range of 11-150 volts and less than 15 amperes.

Can 240V appliances be connected to the American version of the 120V station?

You will need to connect two DELTA Pro units to power the 240V electronics. You can do this using: 1) a dual voltage hub and using the AC outlets on the hub, or 2) a Smart Home panel and using your home’s 240V outlets (You will need to set up 240V wiring on your Smart Home panel during installation).

How do I update the device?

First of all, make sure your DELTA Pro is connected to the EcoFlow app and your mobile device has an Internet connection. Secondly, go to the “Firmware” section in the settings of the DELTA Pro you want to update. Check for the latest firmware and follow the instructions to complete the update.

How do I recharge a 200-240V DELTA Pro station in a 100-120V region?

The cable supplied with the DELTA Pro will not connect to higher voltage outlets and you will need a third party adapter/charging cable.

Results of model finishing of the GTU dual-fuel combustion chamber

9043 7 Gas turbine power market equipment is in dire need of engines capable of running on two types of fuel: natural gas (main) and diesel (reserve). At the same time, technical, operational and environmental requirements for dual-fuel machines remain high. The creation of such engines complicates the design of the combustion chamber (CC) and reveals a number of problems associated with the combustion process and combustion products.

Currently JSC Aviadvigatel is developing gas turbine units with a nominal capacity of 4 and 6 MW, capable of operating on two types of fuel – gaseous and liquid. Gas turbines are created on the basis of the gas generator of the aircraft engine D-30 III series, which has more than 30 years of operating experience. They are a continuation of a number of low-capacity power plants (following the GTU-2.5P and GTU-4P) operating on natural gas and designed to generate electricity for the needs of oil and gas producing enterprises, municipal and industrial facilities.
The prototype of the dual-fuel version of the combustion chamber is a serial CS of the GTU-4P unit, operating on natural gas. For the purpose of the greatest unification, the design of the CS bodies, the number of flame tubes and their dimensions have been retained. A distinctive feature of the developed combustion chamber is the presence of a dual-fuel nozzle and a radial-axial air swirler with external and internal conical nozzles.
Replaceable fuel injectors are used at the pre-finishing stage of the dual-fuel CS. For gaseous fuel, a serial single-channel injector GTU-4P was used, which has an atomizer for supplying gaseous fuel to the flame tube, for liquid fuel – a serial double-circuit nozzle KS of the D-30 engine, specially modified for the GTU-4P flame tube. In the final version of the combustion chamber, a three-channel dual-fuel nozzle was used: one channel serves to supply gaseous fuel, the other two – to supply liquid fuel through two circuits.
The GTU-4P dual-fuel combustion chamber is designed for alternate operation on gaseous and liquid fuels, including short-term operation on both types of fuel when switching from one to another during operation without stopping the GTU. It is estimated that this transition process will take approximately five minutes.
To meet the resource and environmental requirements in the dual-fuel version of the combustion chamber, the technology of “rich-poor” combustion (RQL) was chosen, in this case as the most efficient compared to other low-emission combustion technologies.
The GTU-4P dual-fuel combustion chamber operates according to the following principle. The air from the compressor enters the annular diffuser with a smooth expansion, in which the air velocity is reduced in front of the flame tubes. Through a radial-axial swirler part of the air is mixed with fuel and enters the combustion zone (“rich” zone). The air flows from the radial and axial swirlers are separated by an inner conical nozzle, which together with the outer nozzle forms a confuser channel behind the radial swirler.
Fuel atomized by a liquid dual-circuit injector (or fed through the nozzle holes of a gas injector) first enters the air stream swirling with an axial swirler. Then the air-fuel mixture is mixed with the air flow coming through the confuser channel behind the radial swirler. Another part of the air entering the flame tube through the openings of the combustion zone dilutes the air-fuel mixture supplied from the front device. The remaining air entering the flame tube through a series of holes in the mixing zone forms the required temperature field in front of the turbine. In this case, part of the air is spent on the creation of film-barrage cooling of the flame tube section and the gas collector.
Model refinement of the combustion chamber of the GTU-4P gas turbine plant was carried out on natural gas and liquid fuel of the kerosene-RT brand in a single-burner compartment. During the finishing process, environmental characteristics, temperature fields, lean stall characteristics and ignition characteristics were measured.
Tests showed the following results:
1. When operating on liquid fuel, the combustion chamber is sufficiently resistant to “lean” stall. This is important to ensure stable combustion at idle and load dumps / surges (the coefficients of excess air at “lean” stall, recorded during the test, were in the range of 29.95…33.36).
2. The concentration of NO x when operating on liquid fuel is 2.5 times higher than on gaseous fuel. In the nominal mode (power 4 MW, α x = 4) it was 50 mg/m 3 on gaseous fuel, and 104 mg/m 3 on liquid fuel.
3. When the compressor station operates on both types of fuel, the concentrations of carbon monoxide and oxygen differ slightly from each other in different modes of operation of the single-burner compartment. In nominal mode, the average concentration of CO was 40 mg/m 3 , measured O 2 – 15.3%.
4. At the nominal operating mode of the gas turbine, the concentration of NO x reduced to 15% O 2 was 54.1 mg/m 3 for gaseous fuel and 110.3 mg/m 3 for liquid ( at the norms of GOST 29328 not more than 50 mg / m 3 for gaseous and 100 mg / m 3 for liquid fuel). The concentration of CO, reduced to 15% O 2 , when operating on both types of fuel was 65.8 mg/m 3 .
5. Plots of radial and circumferential non-uniformity of the temperature field at the outlet of the combustion chamber θ medium and θ max of the dual-fuel variant when operating on both types of fuel are quite uniform (on natural gas θ medium = 1.097, θ 904 53max = 1.254; liquid fuel θ media = 1.055, θ max = 1.233).
6. Compared to the serial version of the combustion chamber of the D-30 series III prototype aircraft engine, the dual-fuel version of the CS when operating on liquid fuel has more uniform gas temperature diagrams at the outlet of the compartment. So, θmedium for this option varies in the range from 0.889up to 1.055 (for the D-30 III series engine – 0.836 … 1.088), θmax – in the range from 1.126 to 1.233 (for the D-30 – 1.079 … 1.377).
It should be noted that when operating on both types of fuel, the dual-fuel version was stable.
