Image source: ASUS ASUS’ flagship solution is the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, featuring a massive triple-fan cooling system and a dual BIOS system with quiet and performance modes. For the factory overclocked variant, the manufacturer claims a GPU frequency of 1890 MHz. The novelty is equipped with two 8-pin auxiliary power connectors.
This ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti variant measures 318.5 x 140.1 x 57.8 mm. In a PC case, the video card will take up almost 3 expansion slots. The equipment includes two HDMI 2.1 connectors and three DisplayPort 1.4a. For the factory overclocked version of the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU, the manufacturer claims a GPU frequency of 1785 MHz in Boost mode. The novelty is also equipped with a large cooling system with three fans, designed for 2.7 expansion slots, as well as a dual BIOS system with quiet and performance modes. The card has one 8-pin connector for additional power. The graphics accelerator is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 connectors and three DisplayPort 1.4a. The dimensions of the video card are 301 × 143 × 54 mm. In the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and KO GeForce RTX 3060 Ti models, the manufacturer used more compact cooling systems with two fans. For the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti version with factory overclocking, ASUS claims a GPU frequency of 1740 MHz in Boost mode, for the KO GeForce RTX 3060 Ti model – 1785 MHz. ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Mini For fans of very compact PCs, ASUS is ready to offer a special version of the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Mini. The main features include 8 GB of video memory GDDR6 , two powerful fans Axial-tech , ray tracing technology, streaming multiprocessors NVIDIA Ampere , 2nd generation RT cores, 3rd generation tensor cores, OC Edition 9 0014- GPU frequency increased to 1740 MHz (overclocking mode) / 1710 MHz (gaming mode), Axial-tech fans: longer blades and limiter ring to increase air pressure.
Axial-tech fans have a reduced hub size and extended blades, and a special restrictor ring helps increase air pressure towards the radiator. Under light load, when the GPU temperature stays below 55°C, the fans stop and the cooler cools the GPU passively, i.e. at zero noise level. If the temperature exceeds the specified value, the fans will automatically resume their work.
