SetPowerPolicies : When enabled, LGPO configures various power settings optimized for common devices. For a detailed list of settings enabled by SetPowerPolicies in the LGPO, see the shared computer technical reference. SleepTimeout : Specifies all timeouts for the computer’s sleep timeout. SignInOnResume : If enabled, specifies whether the user is required to sign in with a password when the computer wakes up from sleep. MaintenanceStartTime : By default, maintenance start time (that is, when performing automatic maintenance tasks such as the Windows Update client component or search indexing) is midnight. You can change the service window start time by entering a new time in minutes after midnight. RestrictLocalStorage : If this setting is enabled, users cannot save or view local storage when using File Explorer.

With this setting, you can customize the behavior of the paging file, especially on older computers. Shared Computer Setup
A shared computer can be configured using the following methods:
- Microsoft Intune/MDM
- Preparation package (PPKG)
- PowerShell script
Follow the instructions below to set up your devices with the option that best suits your needs.

To set up devices with Microsoft Intune, create policy parameter directory and use the parameters listed in category Shared PC :
Assign the policy to a security group that contains the devices or users that you want to configure as members.
You can also configure devices with a custom policy using the SharedPC CSP provider.
Recommendations for accounts on computers running in Shared PC mode

If the device is configured in shared computer mode with the default deletion policy, accounts will be cached automatically until there is not enough disk space. The accounts are then deleted to free up disk space. This account management operation is performed automatically. This is how Azure AD and Active Directory domain accounts are managed. All accounts created with guest and kiosk will be automatically deleted upon exit.

Local accounts that already exist on the computer will not be deleted when shared computer mode is enabled. New local accounts created using Settings > Accounts > Other Users > . Adding other users to this computer after enabling shared computer mode will not be removed. However, all new guest accounts created using options “Guest ” and “Kiosk ” on the login screen (if enabled) will be automatically deleted on exit.
To set a common policy for all local accounts, you can configure the following Local Group Policy setting: > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > User Profiles : Delete user profiles older than a specified number of days on system restart . -
Account Management supports accounts that are not affected by deletion. An account can be marked as excluded from deletion by adding the account SID to the registry key:
