As for the drying process, Miele dryers are known for their energy efficiency saving up to 60% with heat-pump technology. W1 Washers with TwinDos
Miele’s TwinDos provides the most intuitive automatic detergent system on the market with two detergent containers integrated into the washing machine. The appliance dispenses the optimum quantity of detergent for the laundry at the optimal time in the wash cycle. Several detergent options are available, including sensitive and odor protection.
T1 Heat-Pump Dryers
T1 Heat-pump dryers are known for energy efficiency, saving up to 60% in consumption.
They have been designated as Most Efficient Energy Star certified for 2021. Unlike condenser dryers, the heat generated is reused and low temperatures protect the high-quality fibers in the most delicate fabrics. T1 dryers run on a 120v outlet, providing flexible installation.
M Touch Controls

Capacity
Miele’s W1 washing machine can hold up to 3 baskets of items (approximately 17.6 pounds) and provides a smaller footprint in terms of space. Let the W1 surprise you with what it can hold, while also offering the flexibility of handling smaller loads (i.e. half load) without the added energy.
Miele Quality
Miele’s high quality washers and dryers are designed to last a long service life. Miele conducts intensive endurance tests to meet the highest quality standards. In these tests washing machines are expected to wash for 10,000 hours, while running a mix of approximately 5,000 two-hour wash programs. This corresponds to approx. 5 programs per week – over 20 years.

ASKO offers three types of dryers: heat pump dryers, condenser dryers and fan dryers. Heat pump tumble dryers use a closed air exchange system in which air is constantly circulated inside the drum, allowing them to be installed even in tight spaces. Heat pump tumble dryers are easy to install and can be placed even in poorly ventilated areas. Heat pump tumble dryers are not affected by heat or humidity in any way, unlike conventional tumble dryers. Heat pump tumble dryers feature low energy consumption: more than 50% lower than fan and condenser tumble dryers. Condensing dryers use two parallel air streams.
The internal airflow is heated when air enters through the preheater. The air passes through the drum, expelling the moist air to the outside. Moisture collects as water droplets in the condenser and is either removed through the drain hose or accumulated in the water tank. Ventilation dryers use outdoor air that is heated ten times. Air passes through the drum and wet laundry, and then the moist air is removed from the dryer through a special tube. This process is repeated until the laundry is completely dry.

Heat pump tumble dryers use a closed air exchange system in which air is constantly circulated inside the drum, allowing them to be installed even in tight spaces. Heat pump tumble dryers are easy to install and can be placed even in poorly ventilated areas. Heat pump tumble dryers are not affected in any way by exposure to heat or humidity, unlike conventional tumble dryers. Heat pump tumble dryers feature low energy consumption: more than 50% lower than fan and condenser tumble dryers.

Condensing dryers use two parallel air streams. The internal air stream heats up as it passes through the heating element. Then the air passes through the drum, saturated with moisture and removed. Moisture collects as water droplets in the condenser and is either removed through the drain hose or accumulated in the water tank.

Condenser dryer.
Typically, these machines dry clothes faster than a model with a heat pump, but they consume significantly more energy. The humidity collected in the water compartment must be emptied after every load.

Automatic detection of the laundry’s moisture content: AutoDry technology.
Load up to 9 kg of laundry into the AutoDry machine and the appliance will dry it exactly to the degree you want – for example, the clothes will remain slightly damp to make them easier to iron immediately, or, conversely, will be dried to the maximum degree, ready for storage. The sensors of the device constantly monitor the temperature and humidity of the laundry in the drum, while also protecting things from overheating and drying out.

AutoClean
AutoClean automatic fluff removal system.
Tumble dryers with AutoClean technology do not require a door filter. They are equipped with an automatic lint removal system, so you don’t have to clean the filter after every drying cycle. The energy efficiency remains at a high level. Fluff is automatically directed to the bottom of the appliance and falls into a special container that must be emptied every 20 cycles * instrument operation. It is very comfortable.
*Based on an estimated machine usage of 160 cycles per year with a standard cotton program according to EU regulation 392/2012. Indicators may vary depending on the intensity of use of the device.
