Where can I find the Maytag washing machine model number?

Model numbers for Maytag top loading washing machines are located behind the control panel. Users can look inside the washing machine cover on the bottom right corner and on the back panel on the left side. base frame.

Front loading models are sometimes numbered on the top of the door gap or inside the bottom of the door. Maytag mini washer and dryer all-in-one combinations are numbered on the top of the cabinet or on the left or right inside corners of the dryer section.

All model numbers are on stickers, including Maytag serial numbers. The latter are useful for finding out the date of manufacture of the machine. For example, if the first letter in the serial number is “B”, then the machine was manufactured in 2014. If the letter to the right of this “B” is “A”, then the car was produced in January. The letter codes for the year change every 12 years, but the codes for the month remain the same.

This information, along with the model number, will be helpful when looking for replacement parts. If the Maytag washing machine is included in the insurance claim, then the exact date of manufacture is also required.
