Amazing keyboard! Completely changed my work and gaming experience.

I purchased the K1 V5 with the Gateron Brown keys. This keyboard is an absolute dream to use. It has some of the most satisfying keystrokes, making it a pleasure for both work and gaming. It’s aesthetically pleasing and has keys that are very well lit, with adjustable brightness. It comes with a key puller in case you want to swap out keys, such as the Option/Command for WinKey/Alt depending on your preferences.

I haven’t tried the Bluetooth functionality yet. For those of you who aren’t crazy about wireless keyboards, rest assured that you can indeed use this keyboard in wired mode, with an improved polling rate.

Also, I love that this keyboard remembers my backlight mode. There are like a billion modes you can cycle through (various patterns and sequences, all the way to just steady always on). With some other keyboard brands, when you use a USB switcher/KVM to switch between computers, they keyboards can forget your setting and make you have to toggle through the options before you settle back on the backlight setting you had. Not with this keyboard. I can switch between my work/personal computer all day long, and the keyboard will always remember what I had it set on last.

If you’re on the fence about this keyboard, don’t be. Just buy it. Now. You won’t regret it.

WOW WOW, this keyboard is amazing don’t take my word for it do a little research yourself but for the price and quality I can’t recommend a better one might want to lube your device I got the bananas to avoid mis clicking giving to orange a try next I believe my next keyboard will be another Keychron whenever the time may come if they keep up with the comp seem to be ahead of it imo

Hi,

I have K1 low-profile keyboard for more than a year and I am more than satisfied! The are two things that may be improved Supplied software for easy setting (currently is possible only with key shortcuts) and adjustable feet.

Important!

for those of you that have connection issues that cause freezing or similar issues, you can disable the sleep mode on the keyboard (https://keychronsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044087054-How-to-disable-Auto-Sleep-Mode-).

It’s not the best solution but is some kind of solution that fixes the problem.

Great but with flaws

I have version 4 of the K1 keyboard. Great keyboard, but there are problems with bluetooth, the keyboard sometimes loses connection or freezes while typing, which results in adding words or strings like: “Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey.” during communication. Or my in-game character walks left for 5 seconds even though I only pressed the key once and I’m not holding it.

That’s why I switched to cable permanently.

Would the creators add a blutooth dongle to the kit? It would definitely improve the quality of the connection and data transfer.
