Steel frame, five-beam support, reliable screw mechanism for changing the seat height, height-adjustable foot ring.

The chair is designed for high laboratory tables, with a height of 900 mm (height from the floor to the top of the tabletop) and is perfect for labor rooms in schools and other educational institutions, for various laboratories (medical, physical, chemical, construction, etc. ), for service stations (car service stations), for various industries (both food and assembly, etc.) and many other organizations.

Do not stand on the leg ring to avoid damage to the frame leg.

The support ring is used as a footrest when sitting (to avoid numbness).

To adjust the support ring in height, unscrew all three locks, set the desired height and fix the ring by screwing the locks

The chair has an adjustment range of 120 mm (adjustable with a reliable screw support):

How to protect your health while sitting in the office all day?

Sitting is unhealthy, and sitting for eight or even more hours is even more so. The main consequences of sedentary work are back pain and excess weight. Uncomfortable office chairs are to blame for some of the problems, there is an alternative to them, but modern ergonomic furniture is still expensive. So, if your employer is not ready to be generous, you will have to take matters into your own hands.

The source of the problem

Research in fields ranging from physiology and biomechanics to molecular biology shows that sedentary work is a health hazard. Of course, the spine suffers. When we sit, explains Andrew Heckt of Mount Sinai Medical Center, all the weight is on the spine and pelvis, putting a lot of pressure on the intervertebral discs. Moreover, this happens even if you try to maintain the most correct posture.

But changes are taking place on a more subtle level as well. According to University of Missouri microbiologist Mark Hamilton, when we stand or move slowly, we use special muscles. Our nervous system uses them for low-intensity activity and they are very rich in enzymes. If you do not go into scientific jungle, when we sit, the muscles are relaxed, and these enzymes work worse. As a result, in particular, the level of good cholesterol drops by 20%.

Harmful and useful chairs

Furniture makers were puzzled by the issue of increasing the comfort of sitting work in the 1960s and 70s, when they began to receive many complaints of back pain. It was believed that the main source of the problem was the lack of support at the level of the lumbar spine. Office chairs and special inserts have appeared that solve this problem. But how much does it help the spine? Some researchers find even Herman Miller’s legendary Aeron chair uncomfortable.

Scientific and design ideas do not stand still. An alternative to traditional office chairs can be high chairs, similar to those at the bar, where the weight falls not only on the fifth point, but also on the legs, and the S-shaped shape of the spine does not change.

Both fun Swopper seats and HAG Capisco ergonomic chairs can be used. A good option is tables at which you can work while standing, but a workplace combined with a simulator is a dream in general. This is good for your back, and you lose weight, and walking during work, they say, you get used to in a couple of weeks.

In general, there is a choice. There is one, but very significant “but” – all this is not cheap. It is hardly worth hoping that employers will rush to change the furniture. So you will have to take care of your own health yourself: take breaks more often, walk and do exercises, for example, do yoga.
