How to fix your computer yourself – step by step instructions
Before you start to figure out how to repair your computer yourself, it is important to identify the causes of its problems.

Do-it-yourself computer repair
We follow this step-by-step instruction:
- De-energize the device.
- We unscrew the fixing screws.
- Getting rid of the side cover of the block itself.
- We study all the cords that connect the power supply to the motherboard – check if they are tightly connected.
- If something is wrong, take it out and put it back in.
- We connect the computer to a power source, start to boot.

How to fix a computer if it shows absolutely no reaction
How to fix a computer if it does not pay attention to the connection of the start button at all? This problem is one of the most common. Let’s talk about some likely causes and repair methods.
In such a case, the diagnostic test must be started using the start button. It is not uncommon for this button to break or tumble inwards if the case has a bad configuration. In this case, remove the front panel, make sure that nothing has happened to it.
It is not difficult to do this at all: remove the wire and ring the key with a multimeter. When you click on it, the network should close. If you let go, the contact should also disappear. There are no problems, so you need to carefully examine the power supply.
How can I check the functioning of the computer’s power supply? We perform the following steps: we pull out the block from the connector on the motherboard, we see two contacts on it with black and green wires. We take an ordinary paper clip, bend it.
