The Razer Naga Trinity has been on our best gaming mouse list as the top recommendation for a MMO/ MOBA option for years now, but there’s a new kid in town — the Razer Naga Pro. Using the Trinity as a foundation, Razer has kept the fundamentals the same and added a few smart new tricks.
The Naga Pro drops the cable for Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. It also picks up optical mouse switches and the over-the-top 20,000 DPI sensor, but this comes at a $50 premium over the Trinity at US$149.99 (£149.99). Is it worth it? Yes. At least to a very particular kind of gamer.
The overall design of Naga Pro stays close to the Trinity but has gained a bit of weight to accommodate the new tech. The Naga Pro is 7mm wider and heavier than the Trinity at 117g, but thanks to the 100% PTFE feet, it glides smoothly across most surfaces. The bigger mouse also takes some getting used to; requiring my long hands to adopt a full palm grip. But the contoured mouse buttons and a rest for my ring finger make it easier to hold onto. Textured rubber grips for the thumb and pinky also help.
I’m a fan of Razer’s optical mechanical switches, which use light to register clicks instead of mechanics, and that makes them really fast.
Razer says 0.2ms fast and I felt it in Doom and Valorant; there was simply no hesitation to my shots. The switches are durable too, with a lifespan of 70 million clicks, but of course, the Naga Pro has plenty of other buttons too.
The three swappable plates have 2, 6 and 12 buttons which you can remap to your heart’s content. One notable change on the Naga Pro is a more traditional 6 button layout instead of the radial layout used on the Naga Trinity. It also helps that swapping the plates is as easy as prying them off with a fingernail. Put another in range and the magnets snap it into place.

Remapping buttons in Razer Synapse is child’s play—a simple point and click affair.
You can do anything from simple keyboard shortcut bindings to complex game macros as well as adjust DPI stages, polling rates, lift-offs, power management and of course, Razer Chroma lighting. Your settings are saved to the Naga Pro’s onboard memory, so it will work exactly as you set it on another machine. You can switch between stored DPI presets via the step switches located behind the scrollwheel. I’m not one to tinker with my mouse buttons, but I was genuinely surprised how easy it was.
Obviously none of this matters if you have a laggy experience. Thankfully, the HyperSpeed Wireless doesn’t disappoint. I used vsynctester.com to quickly measure lag and I was very impressed. The test records how quickly the cursor responds to your mouse movements. In wired mode, I recorded 6ms while the HyperSpeed Wireless managed 6.1ms — a 0.1ms difference. The Bluetooth was slower by 4-6ms but only a keen eye would notice in daily use.

The Naga Pro’s optical sensor has also been updated to the Razer Focus+ 20,000 DPI sensor with 650 IPS tracking.
This is far beyond anything most people will ever need—I max out at 8000 DPI and, while I’m not a pro-gamer, I am a pro-designer with an obsession for pixel perfection. The Naga Pro delivered a smooth, precise experience in my many Adobe Creative Suite adventures.
Now, with all this technical wizardry, battery life is a legitimate concern but Razer’s claim of 150 hour battery life proves true. I’ve been using this review unit for the past week — averaging 14 hours daily and I still have about 35% battery left. That involved a ton of gaming, design work and swapping back and forth between wireless and Bluetooth.
And in the unlikely event that you do run out of battery, just plug in the bundled USB-A cable and continue playing while it charges. It is, however, puzzling that Razer doesn’t bundle the excellent Razer Mouse Dock in the box for such a premium mouse.

It has the terminals for it and would reduce any battery concerns by just plonking the Naga Pro on it every night.
You’re already paying a premium for the Pro version, so not boxing up the mouse dock just seems plain stingy.
But quite frankly, lack of dock aside, I find nothing to really complain about the Naga Pro. It’s a fantastic update to an already great mouse especially for that particular MMO/MOBA gamer. Sure, for most of us, it’s overkill, and likely not worth forking out the extra $50 over the reliably solid Trinity. However, the discerning, cable-phobic multi-genre master will love the speed, accuracy, and versatility of this new Razer Naga Pro.

With over 15 million sold since its inception, the Razer Deathadder has certainly earned its place in the best gaming mouse hall of fame and at the top of our best gaming mouse guide. There’ve been so many iterations and variants of the legendary mouse and with the newest one, the Deathadder V3 Pro, Razer isn’t really messing with a winning formula. In fact, it has doubled down on everything that earned the Deathadder its name: excellent ergonomics and pro-level performance.
Razer has taken the Deathadder to the gym, cut down the fat, shed weight, and ripped the muscles to create a lean, mean, clicking machine. The design changes are reasonably subtle but enough to offend some Deathadder diehards. Gone are the massively flared-out mouse buttons and smooth shell in favour of a slimmer, less aggressive profile that has more in common with the Viper Ultimate than previous Deathadders.
It’s still very much a right-hander’s mouse thanks to the slanted curve of the mouse’s hump that leans ever so comfortably into your palm.
The shell has a new micro-texture coating instead of smooth plastic. It helps keep the now 63g mouse (a 25% drop from the previous Deathadder) from flying out of your hand in the heat of battle.
The large PTFE skates on the bottom allow the Deathadder to glide across surfaces with the same grace as Natasha Romanov a.k.a Blackwidow. Even with my unconscionable habit of not using a mousepad, the V3 Pro performed beautifully on my desk. Razer says it will work just as well on those new-fangled glass mouse pads too, as long as they’re at least 4mm thick.
As a clicker aimed at the highest echelon of esports professionals, Razer has put only its finest tech inside the V3 Pro. First up, it features Razer’s fastest-ever sensor: the new Focus Pro 30K Optical sensor with a 70G acceleration and a maximum speed of 750 inches per second for 99.8% accuracy. No one will play at such a ludicrous DPI but combined with a few tricks like Asymmetric cut-off, Motion sync, and Smart tracking, you’ll never claim that the mouse is why you lost that match.
For the main clickers, the Deathadder gets third-generation Razer optical mouse switches with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it 0.2ms response time and long life of 90 million clicks.

Of course, none of this matters if you have a bad connection between you and your game. Enter Razer HyperSpeed, the de facto gold standard of wireless protocols. Don’t believe me? Just ask TUV SUD PSB, a globally recognized certification institute that says HyperSpeed Wireless is three times faster than any other wireless tech.
That’s probably why the V3 Pro costs so much—to help cover the cost of that certification. Regardless, to me, there’s no distinguishable difference between using the V3 Pro wireless or wired. But if you have doubts, Razer also has a special 4,000Hz Hyperpolling dongle that you can buy as an add-on, but I reckon most folks would simply use the bundled Speedflex USB cable to assuage their latency fears.
The new Deathadder, like its predecessors, is light on buttons, having only five which is laughable compared to the 11 you’ll find on the Basilisk V3. I like how chunky and accessible the side buttons are since I don’t have to awkwardly contort my thumb just to use them. I’m not too enamoured with the scroll wheel though. Sure it’s tactile with steps that are great for weapon switching in-game, but it gets very tedious to do lots of scrolling with this mouse.

Razer’s new Hyperscroll Tilt wheel would have been welcome here.
It’s little things like this and the simplicity in button configuration that works great for FPS gamers but not so much for other game genres or work. I wager more gamers are like me; we need a mouse that’s as great for Doom slaying as it is for navigating dense Excel sheets. However, if your job is playing twitch shooters, then this is just perfect.
However, there’s no denying that such simplicity has its perks. Most obviously when it comes to the battery life on the Deathadder V3 Pro. Razer claims 90 hours and since unboxing it about three weeks ago, I’ve only charged it once. I’ve been exclusively using this as my primary mouse for at least 8 hours a day. So no complaints there. It charges via USB Type-and you can keep using the mouse wired as it charges too.
The new Deathadder V3 Pro is a worthy successor to the family name. It’s fast, comfortable, has excellent battery life, and is very deadly in the right hands. Very few gamers can lay claims to such hands though. For most of us, the $149 being asked for the Deathadder V3 Pro is simply too much, and it feels somewhat akin to owning an F1 car and using it for grocery shopping and school runs.
Still, if you fancy yourself an esports pro who needs a no-nonsense, hyper-focused slaying machine, the V3 Pro lives up to the legends of old.

Weighing just under 59 grams, the Pulsefire Haste uses a honeycomb body design to keep the weight down as much as possible. However, the cutouts are limited to the center of the case to keep the mouse strong and durable.

If this performance-based approach wasn’t obvious enough, the Pulsefire Haste comes with grip tapes included in the kit. These grips can be attached to the left and right mouse buttons as well as to the sides for added control with minimal weight gain. To match the body theme, these pens feature a honeycomb pattern. This creates a nice contrasting effect around the case, which looks even better when the RGB starts to show through.

Pulsefire Haste features a 16,000 DPI sensor, 6 programmable buttons and up to 100 hours of active use. While this isn’t the best in terms of performance for a wireless gaming mouse, it should be enough to satisfy the needs of most gamers.
The HyperX Pulsefire Haste’s retail price puts it in the mid-range gaming mouse category, but it’s often commercially available.

Corsair Harpoon RGB – Budget Wireless Gaming Mouse
At the bottom price we have Corsair Harpoon RGB Wireless. While Corsair has a number of fairly budget-friendly wireless options, this time we went with the Harpoon, which is designed with the claw grip in mind.
What we like :

It has a smaller form factor with an all-black chassis that is highlighted by the RGB Corsair logo on the bottom of the mouse. This subtle design will fit in most builds, but it certainly won’t set the world on fire. Although rubber inserts on the sides provide additional comfort.
In terms of performance, Harpoon’s budget approach limits performance options, but the numbers should be sufficient for beginners who don’t want to play strictly competitive games. With Corsair’s Slipstream technology, the Harpoon has low latency to deliver ultra-fast response times of less than 1ms, a great addition for gamers looking for a competitive edge from time to time.
However, what makes this mouse a great budget option is its adaptability . Harpoon supports 2.4GHz Bluetooth and USB wireless connectivity, as well as the ability to use a wired connection, making it easy to keep playing no matter what happens. Plus, compatibility with Corsair iCUE software makes it easy to customize performance and RGB lighting settings. While 60 hours of battery life is pretty short compared to other options available, it should be enough for multiple gaming sessions in a row.

Glorious Model O Wireless – best design wireless gaming mouse
Most gamers are familiar with brands like Corsair and Logitech, but one lesser known brand that is growing in popularity is Glorious .
As a brand exclusively focused on gaming peripherals, Glorious seems to value quality more than quantity. Their range of mice is a great example of this, with the Model O Wireless being our favorite. What we liked :

This lightweight, symmetrical mouse is a great option for gamers competing in performance with big brand models at a fraction of the price. And while the basic design offers decent performance and design features, there are a number of add-ons that can be used to further enhance the gaming experience.
To reduce weight to fairly light 69grams, Model O Wireless uses a honeycomb design at the top of the case. In addition to reducing weight, this design helps airflow while playing so your hands don’t get sticky and ugly, and allows the side RGB lighting to shine.
There’s also RGB on top of the scroll wheel, which is nice. In terms of performance, the Model O Wireless includes a BAMF sensor that boasts an impressive 19,000 DPI for ample motion control and mouse sensitivity. In addition, the low-latency 2.4GHz wireless connection is quite fast and rarely suffers from input lag or other connection issues.
To further customize inputs, settings, and lighting, Glorious Core software opens up additional options such as DPI adjustment and the ability to save multiple profiles.
The
Glorious Model O Wireless offers a pretty good balance of performance and features and definitely outperforms what the bigger brands offer for the money.

Logitech G Pro Wireless Classic Design Wireless Gaming Mouse
Last but not least, the Logitech G Pro Wireless. This mouse has the same technology as the G502 X Plus but is fully geared towards gamers and esports athletes.

Like many of the other gaming mice on this list, the G Pro Wireless is symmetrical, making it suitable for right-handed and left-handed users alike.
This design is truly symmetrical as it includes a pair of programmable buttons located on either side, adding additional inputs perfect for both playing styles.
